100 W × 12 h = 1,200 Wh ÷ 0.90 × 1.20 = 1,600 Wh

Starting 100 W for 12 h is a hypothetical example. Capacity is nominal Wh compared with the recommended size, which already includes Zaron's 90% efficiency and 20% margin (planning assumptions, not universal constants). Surge figures are manufacturer-published; if you leave startup blank, verify manufacturer specifications.

How to compare brands

Four Criteria Decide It, Not the Logo.

01

Energy capacity

Nominal Wh must cover your recommended battery size.

02

Continuous AC output

Must be at least your running watts.

03

Startup / surge

Published surge must cover documented startup demand, or verify.

04

Expansion and recharge

Matters for longer outages and recovery.

Better whenA 2 kWh unit with a verified 5-year warranty and moderate output is enough. You need higher output, a larger surge figure or a longer expansion path.

Anker's F2000 figures are from its US product page; other regional pages list different output numbers, so verify the version you buy.

CLASS FIRSTBRAND SECOND

There Is No Universal Winner.

At about 1 kWh, Anker lists more continuous output while EcoFlow lists a higher surge figure and expansion. At about 2 kWh, EcoFlow lists higher output and a longer expansion path while Anker lists a verified 5-year warranty. Which matters depends on your load.

Common questions

Straight Answers.

Is Anker or EcoFlow better?

Neither wins universally. Compare matched capacity classes against your own load: the energy you need, your running watts, and your startup requirement. See the spec-fit checker and the side-by-side tables.

Which has more output at about 1 kWh?

Based on published specs, the Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 lists 2,000 W continuous versus 1,800 W for the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus. EcoFlow lists a higher surge figure (3,600 W versus 3,000 W peak).

Which can be expanded?

The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus (1 to 5 kWh) and DELTA 3 Max Plus (2 to 10 kWh) are expandable, and so is the Anker SOLIX F2000 (up to 4,096 Wh). Anker states the C1000 Gen 2 is not expandable.

Can either run my refrigerator?

It depends on your refrigerator's running and startup power, the unit's published continuous and surge ratings, and the energy you need. Use the checker and verify manufacturer specifications. Startup demand varies by model.

Do published surge figures guarantee my motor will start?

No. They are manufacturer-published specifications. Compare them with your appliance's documented or measured startup demand, and verify with both manufacturers. Specs can differ by region and version.

Did Zaron test these products?

No. This page compares published manufacturer specifications. Zaron does not claim to have physically tested these products.
