We prioritize information that helps readers make practical backup-power decisions: appliance load, energy consumption, runtime, output requirements, battery capacity, system limitations and manufacturer specifications.
Calculations and assumptions
Planning assumptions are identified as assumptions. We distinguish watts and kilowatts from watt-hours and kilowatt-hours, and we do not present estimated values as manufacturer specifications.
